After my semester of advanced ceramics, I have made a lot of cups. And to help me glaze them all and find a home for them, I invited my wing to the Studio to glaze some pots. While we were there my Professor came in and did a small lecture about glazes, there chemical make up, the firing process, and by doing so, talk about how the glaze will look.
This past Tuesday Trevor and I had Dr. Travis Nelson in to talk about the influences politics have in sports as well as give a little sneak peak at what his new class will be like next semester when he turns this lecture into a class. It was a great time and it really opened my eyes to ideas I had no idea about.
Make sure to check out my two new boards that I put up this week. Especially the one on Professor Lohmann. He is a great guy who has a lot of experience and knowledge that he would love to share with everyone. It is full of cool things about him and advice for college students now.
Last night Garrett and I went and got some delicious food at the PSC for Brockett Hall and the CPR’s Midnight Breakfast! If you didn’t come you were missing out!
